Be Found Blameless
. . . who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:8

Do you know the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ is different from the Day of the Lord? The Day of Christ is speaking of the Rapture, and the Day of the Lord is speaking of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, after the Tribulation period. It makes a difference here.

I think this is a real important point because of the Rapture. He said when the Lord Jesus Christ comes, He wants to find you blameless. Notice he says blameless. We are not talking about spirituality. We are talking about people really living holy lives, being blameless in everything they do.

If we are eagerly waiting for Jesus to come, He is going to confirm us to the end. Isn't that cool? If God started a work in your life, then He will finish it. See, if you are walking with the Lord, abiding in Him, He is going to accomplish all the plans He has for your life.

If you decide not to abide in Christ, you will miss out on the blessings of the Lord here on earth, and you will be sure to remain here for the Tribulation period, following the Rapture. You will not be found blameless in the Day of Jesus because He will not confirm those who choose not to walk with Him.

It is so important to remember, it is all our choice. We choose heaven or hell.

Sin is but hell in embryo;
hell is but sin in fulfillment.
